Natasha Marie is based
in Burntwood, South Staffordshire.
She
is a self contained vocalist with a sound and lighting technician. she likes
to class herself
as an
all round entertainer. She trained at the Birmingham School of Speech and Drama
for three
years
which she felt gave her a good foundation for performing.
Her
acting experience
has involved stage parts in " Little Shop of Horrors " and "
Blood Brothers "
and
also Television roles in Doctors, Casualty, Dalziel and Pascoe, Date with Fate
and Family Pride.
Natasha
is also a full Equity Member.
In 1999
before she became an Award Winning Solo Vocalist she worked with the "
Black Voices "
an all
black Acapella group from Birmingham. she was privileged to go on Tour to North
America,
Canada,
South Africa, Brunei and Singapore.
Her
voice
has been compared to Heather Small and Gabrielle and she won " Stars in
Their Local Eyes " in
2002
as Gabrielle. She also won Best Female Vocalist for North Staffordshire Entertainment
Federation in 2003
and
in the same year took part in Jamaica's Independence Day at the Pebble Mill
Studios in Birmingham
where
tracks from one of her Albums were played.
Most
recently she performed at the prestigious Land Mark Hotel in London to raise
money
for
the " Wooden Spoon " charity. The audience included England Rugby
star Laurence Dallaglio
and
Boxing Promoter Micky Duff. Also at the Hotel that night were the X Factors
Louis Walsh
and
winner Shayne Ward.Natasha also performed at an open air concert at an International
event
in
Northampton and has supported top liners such has McFly, Ocean Colour Scene
and Simon Webb
at
the Millennium Point in Birmingham for the launch of the 2006 Christmas Lights
switch on hosted
by
BRMB Radio.This was followed by an invitation by Beacon Radio to sing at the
Christmas
Lights
Show at Oakengates,Telford Shropshire.,Most recently Natasha Marie worked
with the American Drifters at the Big Top Showbar in Skegness.
All
this as well as doing a tour of the country and entertaining the military to
her busy schedule.
Her
repertoire consists of Music from the 50s to the present day.
Natasha
specialises in a Soul and Motown Tribute which she really enjoys and cover a
variety of genres
from
Jazz, Pop, Reggae and Rock N Roll.
Natasha
is available for all occasions and does not see distance as a barrier.
